Just a random collection of ticket stubs I accidently collected over the years. I never really intended to collect them, it just happened. I wish I would have been more focussed early on so I could have kept tickets for Led Zeppelin on their tour promoting Led Zeppelin lll (I think I saw them August 29, 1971 in New Orleans at the Municipal Auditorium). Or Bob Dylan and the Band's 1974 tour. (January 25, 1974 at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. or his Rolling Thunder Revue which I saw again at the Tarrant County Convention Center on May 16, 1976.
Then, of course, there are no tickets for Yes, Santana, Dan Fogelberg, the Allman Brothers, America, It's A Beautiful Day, Grand Funk Railroad, Randy Newman, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Doctor John (when he was still "The Night Tripper") and others I have forgotten. Oh yeah, in 1974 there was the fake Fleetwood Mac band we drove a couple of hundred miles to see only to find out at the venue that the concert had been cancelled because the real band had sued them for pretending to be Fleetwood Mac.
As they say, if you remember it you probably weren't there.
(You can mouse over the tickets to see the name of the performer and the concert date. If you click on an image, it will enlarge so you can see the detail and any comments I have about the concert.)
